Teppanyaki Set
with Shichirin grill round, Teppanyaki plate and coconut briquettes

The special thing about Shichirin grilling is the convivial gathering around the embers. Similar to European raclette, all delicacies are pre-portioned into tasty bites before a Shichirin grilling ceremony. You won't find a fully-employed grill master at a Shichirin! Friends and family sit together around the table grill and everyone prepares their own dish to their heart's content.

The Shichirin is made of ceramic with quartz, cordierite and is fired at high temperatures. This makes this Shichirin a real powerhouse. The grill is easy to clean due to the glazed exterior. The device can only be used outdoors with briquettes, self-igniting briquettes or charcoal. The Japanese use Binchotan charcoal, the black gold of Japan, which means that extremely high temperatures can be reached. A real Yakitori grill reaches a temperature of over 900 degrees. In addition to being used as a Yakitori grill (skewers), this round grill can be used with the Teppanyaki plate. In short, the entire Japanese cuisine in one device (also called Konro or Hibachi).

The grill has a stainless steel grate as well as standard bamboo coasters and a portable base. The grill is suitable for up to 6 people.

The total package includes:

+ Shichirin Grill round
+ round teppanyaki plate
+ Coconut briquettes

The round Teppanyaki plate from YAKINIKU can be perfectly combined as a small fire plate with the round version of the Shichirin.
The plate is made of extra strong stainless steel and can be easily cleaned. Teppanyaki is a typical and modern Japanese way of preparing food
.

The word teppanyaki literally means "grilling on an iron plate" and is derived from teppan, which means iron plate, and yaki, which means grilled or baked. Anything you can imagine can be prepared on the teppanyaki plate. If you have ever been to Japan, you know that rice, miso soup and eggs are also prepared on the teppanyaki. In the western world, the teppanyaki is mainly used for grilling meat, fish or vegetables.
