Ingredients
• 4 burger buns
• approx. 300 g oyster mushrooms
• 4 lettuce leaves
• 1 onion,
cut into thin rings
• 100 ml low-fat mayonnaise
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• some freshly grated horseradish
• fresh herbs to taste,
finely chopped
• Salt
• Pepper
• Olive oil
preparation
➊ Preheat the grill and prepare for direct grilling. For the burger sauce, mix mayonnaise, mustard and fresh herbs in a bowl. Season to taste with freshly grated horseradish. Remove any dirt from the oyster mushrooms with a brush or kitchen towel.
➋ Spray the mushrooms on both sides with olive oil and grill for about 5 minutes on each side.
➌ Roast the onion in a pan and toast the burger buns briefly on the grill. Cut them open and spread the burger sauce on each half of the bun.
➍ Cover each of the bottom halves with a lettuce leaf. Place the grilled oyster mushrooms on top and season with salt and pepper. Top with onion rings and finally put the burger lid on.
