Ingredients
• 4 fully ripe bananas
• 400 ml maple ice cream (alternatively maple walnut)
• Pistachio kernels and pomegranate seeds for garnishing
For the chocolate sauce:
• 75 ml milk
• 75 g whipped cream
• 10 g cocoa powder
• 10 g brown sugar
• 75 g dark chocolate
For the toffee sauce:
• 30g butter
• 120 g brown sugar
• 100 ml cream
• 2 g salt
preparation
➊ For the chocolate sauce, heat the milk and cream in a saucepan. Add the cocoa powder and sugar and carefully bring to the boil.
➋ Add the roughly chopped chocolate and let it melt while stirring.
➌ For the toffee sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugar. Melt the sugar completely over medium heat and stir in the cream. Cook for about 10 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency and season with salt at the end.
➍ Halve the bananas lengthways and grill the cut side. Turn over and leave on the grill for about 3-4 minutes.
➎ Serve with ice cream, chocolate and toffee sauce and garnish.
