Ingredients

• 4 fully ripe bananas
• 400 ml maple ice cream (alternatively maple walnut)
• Pistachio kernels and pomegranate seeds for garnishing

For the chocolate sauce:
• 75 ml milk
• 75 g whipped cream
• 10 g cocoa powder
• 10 g brown sugar
• 75 g dark chocolate

For the toffee sauce:
• 30g butter
• 120 g brown sugar
• 100 ml cream
• 2 g salt

For the chocolate sauce, heat the milk and cream in a saucepan. Add the cocoa powder and sugar and carefully bring to the boil.

Add the roughly chopped chocolate and let it melt while stirring.

For the toffee sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugar. Melt the sugar completely over medium heat and stir in the cream. Cook for about 10 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency and season with salt at the end.

Halve the bananas lengthways and grill the cut side. Turn over and leave on the grill for about 3-4 minutes.

Serve with ice cream, chocolate and toffee sauce and garnish.
