Ingredients

1 ½ kg pork neck, trimmed and cut into large cubes
• 18 small potatoes
• 2 red bell peppers, cut into large pieces
• 6 brown mushrooms, halved
• 1 bunch of spring onions, cut into approximately 3 cm pieces

For the marinade:
• 2 garlic cloves, chopped

• 1 small onion, chopped
• 150 ml apple syrup
• Juice and zest of 1 organic lemon
• 1 teaspoon each of salt and pepper

preparation

First, prepare a marinade from the listed ingredients and add the meat cubes. Marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

On game day, boil the potatoes in their jackets and let them cool. Remove the meat from the marinade and reserve the marinade. Thread all the ingredients alternately onto skewers.

Set up a direct and an indirect grilling zone on the grill. First, sear the skewers on all sides, then let them finish cooking in the indirect zone. Brush them with the remaining marinade during the cooking process.
