preparation

Wash the apples thoroughly, halve them and remove the core. Cut the halves into very thin slices.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut strips that are as wide as the apple slices. Place one strip across in front of you and cover the top half with apple slices, overlapping half of them.

Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and vanilla sugar. Then fold the bottom half of the puff pastry up over the apple slices. Now roll up tightly from one side and form into a rose. Drizzle each rose with a little melted butter.

Set up the grill for indirect grilling and set it to 220 °C. Grill the apple roses indirectly with the lid closed for 25 minutes. After 8 minutes, cover the top with some aluminum foil so that the apple slices do not burn.

Use 2 spoons to scoop out the vanilla ice cream and serve with the blueberries, sugar and apple roses.
