Sucuk pizza in a glass
Ingredients
for 4-6 people
• 1 roll of pizza dough from the refrigerator
(Finished product)
• 2 Sucuk (strongly spiced
Raw sausage made from beef, veal or
lamb)
• 1 red pepper
• ½ onion
• 2-3 tbsp tomato-pepper paste
(3 to 1)
• 5 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp dried pizza herbs
• 1 canned feta cheese
• some butter for the glasses
preparation
Cut the pizza dough into 6 pieces and line 6 buttered, flat, wide glasses (approx. 8 cm diameter, 3 cm high; standard dessert glasses can be easily reused) with the dough.
Cut the sucuk, bell pepper, onion and 2/3 of the cheese into small pieces. Mix the tomato and bell pepper paste with olive oil until smooth (add a little water if necessary) and season with the herbs, mix everything together and pour into the jars. Crumble the remaining feta cheese and sprinkle it on the mixture.
Cook in a closed grill at around 200 °C for around 12-15 minutes until the dough is golden brown. Either serve in a glass or remove the excess pizza dough from the edge of the glass and carefully lift the pie out.
Tip: If you don't care about presenting the pizza in a glass, you can also use suitable muffin tins to make the pizza pies.
