Ingredients:

• 400g pasta
• 400 g rump steak
• 1 medium shallot
• 1 tbsp tomato pesto
• 1 tsp chives
• 25g butter
• 150 g light cream
• 50g pancetta
• Parmesan cheese as desired
• Salt
• Pepper

Fry the steak on the grill in the pan on both sides (this way the flavor stays in the sauce). Then remove it from the pan and let it simmer indirectly at around 100 °C until it reaches a core temperature of 54 °C. In the meantime, cook the pasta.

Chop the pancetta and shallots into small pieces and add them to the pan with the butter. Fry, add the remaining ingredients and bring to the boil briefly. Add the pasta and mix everything together well.
Slice the steak and place it on the pasta. Grate Parmesan cheese on top if desired when serving.
