Product test: Monolith Avantgarde Classic
Black Beauty: Not everything always has to be reinvented. Take a closer look and make an existing product even better, even more beautiful. Monolith has revised its ceramic bestseller, the Classic. It is already assembled in front of us, the Monolith Avantgarde Classic. Impressive, the matt black ceramic glaze gives the grill a special touch. For the FIRE&FOOD grill test, Monolith supplied the Avantgarde (grill surface 44 cm Ø) in the optionally available Nest, which also received a new facelift.
Proven even better
Monolith, a grill brand that has been dealing exclusively and intensively with Kamado grills for several decades. The company is constantly working on improving and developing practical features. The inner workings of the grill have become a real combination machine. Whether direct or indirect grilling, pot inserts, grates and griddles, grill skewer attachments, smoking rails, but also pellets and charcoal are taken care of. This has resulted in a product portfolio that makes ceramic grilling convenient and guaranteed to be a success. The experience gained from the Monolith Classic was incorporated into the new Avantgarde. The further development has therefore mainly focused on the external appearance. The glaze has been applied in matt. The bands, all made of stainless steel, have been made wider. The handle now has lighting for night grilling. The nest has been completely redesigned to match. The elegant Heavy Bamboo side tables (carbonized bamboo fiber) and the powder-coated steel trolley make the egg look good. The smooth-running heavy-duty castors allow the heavy weight to be rolled comfortably across the terrace.
- The interior of the Avantgarde allows for many applications on different levels

Conclusion:
The Monolith Avantgarde Classic lives up to its brand. Monolith ceramic grills have long been considered very reliable in use. Connoisseurs particularly appreciate the many grilling and BBQ options. And with the Avantgarde, Monolith is now upping the ante in terms of appearance.
