Ingredients

• 100 g salted nacho chips
• 50 g flat-leaf parsley, chopped
• 2 x 250 g feta cheese
• 2 garlic cloves, chopped
• 150 g watermelon,
cut into cubes
• 150 g cherry tomatoes, halved
• 100 g jalapenos
• Salt
• Pepper
• Pomegranate syrup
• Vegetable oil for the plancha
• 1 handful of wood chips

Halve each piece of feta cheese to make four pieces. Crush the nachos into fine crumbs, for example with your hands or with a rolling pin. Mix with the chopped parsley and chopped garlic. Roll the four pieces of feta cheese in the mixture and distribute the remaining nacho mixture on the plates.

Heat up a grill with a lid and smoke the wood chips. Spread the tomatoes and jalapeños on the grill and smoke for 20 minutes in the closed grill. Then heat up a plancha or a smooth grill plate to a high temperature and brush with a little vegetable oil.

Place the vegetables and melon cubes on one side and the feta cheese on the other. Grill the feta pieces on each side for about 2 to 3 minutes until they are golden brown.

Now season the vegetables with salt and pepper and drizzle with a little pomegranate syrup. Arrange on plates together with the feta cheese.
