Change in management at Weber-Stephen

The American grill manufacturer Weber-Stephen has a new vice president. Since July 1, Andrea Strein has been responsible for business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as Vice President Hub Central (DACH).

Strein succeeds Hans-Jürgen Herr. Herr has held the position of Managing Director Germany on an interim basis since October 2019. Hans-Jürgen Herr, who has been with the company for over 15 years, has supported the German management team in addition to his role as President of Weber-Stephen Products EMEA. "With Andrea Strein, we are gaining an extremely accomplished and internationally experienced expert in the field of brand management for the company," said Herr. Andrea Strein was most recently responsible for DACH at Moleskine, and has now put the consistent further development of Weber-Stephen's corporate strategy and the strengthening of the brand positioning on her agenda: "I am very pleased to bring my knowledge and ideas to the company and, together with my team in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, to provide new impetus for the Weber brand. My goal is to further expand Weber-Stephen's strong position in the Central European markets together with our trading partners and to bring the grilling experience closer to our consumers."
